yesterday

As the car pulled up to the stoplight, I saw an arm hanging out the window holding a feather. The cars were in line for a moment, and caught with my hand across to my jaw, I looked the boy in his round eyes. I was so surprised that he was not a child- a teenager watching this feather. We took the exit and they went straight- a person in some other dimension important to me- and I will never encounter him again.
